The Tutors
Jenny Phillips is Australia’s most influential botanical art teacher today, running not only the Botanical Art School of Melbourne but also her renowned Botanicart Gallery.
Her contagious enthusiasm has inspired over 300 students there. She has exhibited in the UK, Australia, the USA and South Africa.
She has taught hugely successful classes in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Cape Town, Johannesburg, South Carolina and Venice. |
Siriol Sherlock has mastered the skill of watercolour to perfection, creating superb plant portraits which are both fluid and accurate. She has had solo exhibitions at Kew and the famous Hillier Gardens and won numerous RHS awards for past work.
Siriol has written two highly acclaimed art instruction books: Exploring Flowers in Watercolour and Botanical Illustration; both books won the 'Art Instruction Book of the Year' award. She has taught classes in Madeira, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Venice.
Carol Woodin is one of the most outstanding botanical artists working in the USA. She became a full-time botanical artist in 1990 and has had two solo exhibitions.
Carol specialises in painting orchids and has won major awards both in the US and the UK. Her work is held at the Hunt Institute, at Kew and the American Orchid Society and in many private collections. Once again Carol will be teaching our orchid painting class in Peru. |
