Price per person is £260 for the British Pullman and £190 for the Northern Belle and includes a five course table d’hôte lunch or dinner with champagne and fine wine.
As well as regular lunch and dinner departures operating throughout the month, there are a number of longer day trips perfect for the discerning-shopper or city-lover.
If the beautiful voices of Cathedral choirs lift your sprits, then why not join one of the Christmas carol trips to Canterbury on the British Pullman, departing from London on the 4th and 16th December or to Salisbury on the 10th December. The Northern Belle is operating a trip to Chester on the 11th December departing from Glasgow and Edinburgh. All trips include a delicious bunch served on the outbound journey, entrance to a carol recital at the city’s historic Cathedral and a five course dinner with champagne and wine on the inbound journey. If the shops of London are calling, then treat yourself to the shopping trip to London’s famous Knightsbridge, departing on 6th December on Northern Belle from Birmingham, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. If tennis is your preferred spectator sport, guests can opt for tickets to the Masters and enjoy all the action from a seat in the Grand Tier box. Prices on this date start from £275 per person.
The British Pullman is operating a Christmas at Chatsworth House trip on the 11th December and the Northern Belle on the 2nd December (from Ely, Ipswich and Norwich), 13th December (from Durham and Newcastle) and 20th December (from Liverpool, Manchester and Wakefield) for those keen to get ahead with the festivities. This trip includes brunch on the outward journey, entrance to Chatsworth House and a five course dinner with champagne and wine on the return journey. Historic Chatsworth House, set in the magnificent landscape of Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park, is specially decorated for this magical time with candles, Christmas trees, and beautiful foliage and decorations. In addition to this, there are ample opportunities for those who wish to indulge in a spot of Christmas shopping with the on-site farm shop, garden shop or three gift shops where you can pick up unique gifts for loved ones. The British Pullman is also operating festive trips to Blenheim Palace and Waddesdon Manor on the 6th December and both are priced at £310 per person.
Visit England’s most famous Christmas Market, Lincoln Christmas Market onboard the British Pullman which departs on the 5th December. The trip includes Brunch with bucks fizz on the outward journey, entrance and free time in the market and a four course dinner with champagne and wine on the return journey. The price per person is £310.
Still looking for a unique way to see in the New Year? Treat your family and friends to the ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration on board the British Pullman and Northern Belle.
