The Yucatan Channel, which runs just offshore of Maroma, is a renowned paradise for sport fishing enthusiasts. With  Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo and Barracuda abound in these extremely deep and rich waters.

Closer to shore the informal angler can have the thrill of catching a variety of excellent eating fish.
All deep-sea fishing yachts are fully equipped and professionally crewed, 29 and 30 ft. sport fishers that accommodate up to 8 people.

You can bring your catch to Maroma and our Chef will be delighted to cook it for dinner.

Fly Fishing

A beautiful lodge located 2 hours south of Maroma, offers half-day and full-day fishing experiences. Guests receive personalized service from expert guides who will help in making the fishing trip a true adventure.
 
We arrange for the fishing license, a professional fishing guide, and provide rental equipment such as spin rod and fly rod.
