一日中マローマのハンモックでのんびり過ごしたいという誘惑には逆らいがたいものです。ツルム、コバと浮世離れしたチチェン・イツァを含む、多くの考古学的な至宝が手近にあるので、リゾートを離れずにのんびりと過ごすことができます。

これら3ヵ所の最も有名なマヤ遺跡は、天文学(聖職者は神殿とピラミッドの最上部を天文台として使用しました)、数学(マヤ人はカレンダーを持ち、ゼロの概念発明者の一人に数えられます)、精神性に満ちた見事な文化遺産です。
