The Yucatan Channel, which runs just offshore of Maroma, is a renowned paradise for sport fishing enthusiasts.  Marlin, sailfish, tuna, Dorado, Wahoo and barracuda abound in these extremely deep and rich waters. Closer to shore the informal angler can have the thrill of catching a variety of excellent eating fish.

Fully equipped and professionally crewed the boats accommodate up to 8 people.  Bait, equipment, beer and soft drinks are available. All deep-sea fishing yacht's are fully equipped and professionally crewed, 31 ft. sport fishers that accommodate up to 8 people.

We can take you fishing for your dinner like the locals do it. Troll for Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper and Snook in and around Maroma Bay and impress your friends when you disembark with your prize catch.

Price is per boat and includes al equipment, bait, captain, guide, beer , water and soft drinks.  Pick up is at the hotel beach and when weather does not permit, ground transportation is provided.

Boca Paila Fishing Lodge
The lodge, a 2-hour drive south of Maroma, offers half-day and full-day fishing experiences. Sequestered along a palm-dotted expanse of a serene white sand beach front, Boca Paila is truly an oasis for saltwater flat anglers and their non-fishing companions. Guests receive personalised service from expert guides who will help in making the fishing trip a true adventure.

Half day fishing from 8 am to 12 noon:

1-day fishing trip from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm:
