The Maroma Wine Cellar offers our guests a unique wine tasting experience and an excellent selection of wines awarded by The Wine Spectator in 2008 and 2009 as one of the finest wine lists in the world. The cellar is located in a beautiful setting at El Sol Restaurant.

Our wine list is an invitation to discover the Latin influence in wine. It showcases 300 wines from Argentina, Mexico, Spain and Chile, as well as other well known wine regions in the US, France, Italy, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada.

All our wines serve to enhance the cuisine of our Chef who presents us with unique combination of Yucatan, Mayan, and Creole flavors every Thursday at 7:30 pm in the Wine Cellar. Wine dinners at the cellar consist of 5 courses expertly paired by our Sommelier Caviste Alexandre Rioux.

"The seven course wine-pairing dinner, served in a romantic cellar-inspired private dining room, features an ever-changing menu which recently included perfectly tender sea scallops, rib-eye encrusted with chili and coffee and a palate-cleansing lime sorbet made by local Mayan women—all paired with the perfect wine by sommelier Alexandre Rioux. Don’t let his baby-face fool you. He knows what he’s doing!"
